Lesson Plan Reflection

Today lesson plan was very useful, we were given the chance to critique on some lesson plan samples. Some of the key points that I learnt are:

1. To differentiate between General Objective (GO) and Specific Instructional Objective (SIO) is that for SIO teacher must be able to assess student knowledge and hence correct verb must be used.
2. To include learners' ability at the beginning of the lesson plan.
3. Recapitulation of last week lesson should be link to today's lesson and theory lesson has to relate to practical cooking lesson.
4. Duration timing between each section of Introduction, Recapitulation, Theory, Activity, Summary and Closure have to be reasonable.
5. Appropriate language must be used when asking questions.
